Sunday March 7th

I am finally posting don't give up hope on me yet! :) Yesterday was an amazing service! First the kids that go to G.P.S sang one of the songs they have been learning sign language too Marvelous Light. They did a great job! The youth do an amazing job with kids on Wednesday nights! Thanks so much guys! Then we had 5 visitors! Glad to see new faces and some old ones back! We have been talking about the miracles that Jesus performed and yesterdays was raising Lazarus from the dead. We have been learning the reason Jesus was able to perform such amazing miracles was from the power of God. He wanted people to know that Jesus was His Son so they would come to believe in Him! It's amazing to know we serve a mighty and powerful God!

I got to watch Bro. Todd's sermon and it was great-I hope as Parents and loved ones we are impressing the love God has for them in their lives each and every day in some way! Take the deutornomy verse that was from the sermon and take just a few minutes each morning and talk about and maybe try memorizing it this week with your children. I will be sending home some quick family devotional with them from now on to help you guys impress the love of God more and more in their lives.

Here are some neat tips I found know Bro. Todd mentioned some in his sermon to help impress God more into their lives:

1. Say a morning prayer at the breakfast table-if your on the go breakfast eaters say it before you drop them off for school!

2. Send a verse in their lunch boxes or just an encouraging word-God loves you and so do I! or Smile Jesus loves you! F.R.O.G-fully rely on God!

3.Take time to hang up a verse on the refrigerator for that week to help memorize.

4. Read a bible story at night before bed time.

5. Sing a worship song together before bed time.

These are just a short few-their are so many more unique ways to impress the love that God has for them! I hope you all have a great and blessed week! We love you and your children all dearly and are in our prayers daily!
