Hope everyone is enjoying their spring break! Great beautiful weather that God has blessed us with!  Just a reminder that Sunday is the final day of the high attendance contest and the big cookie will be going to the class that has the highest attendance for the whole month! So don't give up just yet you still have sunday to get some numbers in and invite your friends!! See you Sunday!!

Hey everyone....only a few more days until spring break and it's finally starting to feel like it outside! Sunday we had a great service we talked about Elijah again and those that were worshiping the false God Baal...it made the kids question what took up a lot of their time what were they "worshiping" or putting their time into...it really makes me step back and look at all the many distractions we have now a days..t.v., video games, music, fashion, food even. That's probably a major one for me that i'm still working on with the Lord's help...for most of them it was t.v. so we talked about other ways we could use our time to spend time with God instead of watching those 50 hours of t.v. a week or whatever they were struggling with. 1st and 2nd graders still in the lead for high attendance don't worry though guys you still have two more sundays left to invite, invite, and invite!

 Sunday afternoon it was great to see all those who showed up to volunteer for VBS and praise God all positions were taken care of in like ten minutes!  So awesome to see those so willing to be a part and do God's work!  It's going to be a great VBS this year! Thank you all!

Sunday Recap...

Just wanted to tell the kids again what an awesome job they did singing sunday morning!  I hope everyone received a blessing from it! Hight Attendance for sunday was...1st and 2nd grade! Don't worry though classes you still have a couple of weeks to catch up! It's the total at the end of the month!  We talked about Elijah and him being a prophet of God when we made it back into children's church after singing and how we can tell when God is working in our lives and those around us! Key verse for sunday was "The Lord has done great things for us and we are glad." Psalm 126:3  Parents I encourage you to ask your children if they can remember what the key verse was for Sunday.. we are trying extra hard to memorize our key verses and refreshing their memories during the week will be a big help to them! 

Sunday night and F.E.D was a great night we talked about how important it is for us as missionaries to know God's word so when we are out on the mission field which is everyday... to be able to tell others about His word..so we got back to the basics and are working on the books of the bible and played human tic-tac-toe learning what books are in the old testament and the new testament the X's and O's are tied so we'll be having a tie breaker next week!  

Don't forget G.P.S guys tomorrow night at 6:30!!!
